What is the MHSA?
The Moss Hall School Association is the parents’ group for both the Moss Hall Infants, Junior and Nursery.
The aim of the MHSA is to enable parents to become part of the school community and help support the school in any way that they can. Throughout the year, we organise many events which raise money for the schools – most years we raise approximately £25,000.
What sort of events are run?
We try to organise a wide range of events, highlights include the Winter and Summer fairs and the annual fireworks night. We also run second hand uniform sales to support parents with the cost and high turnover of uniform.
What do we do with the money?
The money is distributed between the two schools and the nursery to pay for additional resources that could not usually be paid for from the schools’ budget.
This includes outdoor playground equipment, technology, cooking resources and musical instruments.
Who can join the MHSA?
All parents are welcome to get involved!
The more help we get, the more money we raise, the more our children benefit. Simple.
Everyone is welcomed and everyone has something that they can contribute. You don’t need any particular knowledge or skills and it’s a great way to get to know other parents and is hugely rewarding.
