School Travel Plan

The School Travel Plan is an important part of the School Development Plan and is shared with parents, pupils, staff and governors. 

It assists in promoting active, healthy lifestyles for staff, children and parents.  It helps to provide the children with the skills to become independent travellers and prepare them for secondary school. It also encourages children to develop an active and healthy interest in the school’s immediate environment and in the wider world around them. There are several focus events during the year to raise awareness of their and others means of travel, especially to and from school.
